This covers areas such as scheduling systems, playout servers and automation, Encoding and Multiplex, SDI routing, IP contribution and distribution networks, plus all other associated aspects that are necessary to support the broadcast operations.

Managing day-to-day activities, liaising with other team members, including interacting with clients and supplier organisations, reporting to the board and stakeholders, as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Planning and controlling change.

  • Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
