As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the Conditional access and HbbTV product solutions. This role requires a combination of knowledge of the market and customers as well as an excellent grasp of the relevant technologies and ecosystems.
Define the product strategy of the clients Common Interface + Conditional access modules in combination with HbbTV and its positioning and fit in existing and new markets and customers.
Leverage market and customer understanding to serve as the voice of the customer in decisions made regarding current and future solutions.
Manage the product lifecycle of the CI+ CAM & HbbTV and the underlying technology.
Collect customer, solution, and market requirements from customer interaction and market analysis and elaborates these to an appropriate level of detail.
Work with the Engineering, suppliers and partners to prioritize requirements and define medium/long-term product and solution roadmaps.
Work with technology providers and partners such as the major TV manufacturers and HbbTV software houses regarding the acceptance, the implementation and deployment of the HbbTV CAM solution.
Define and own solution pricing strategy, financial analysis and justification, create new business cases and present to management.
Work with the Solution Marketing team to create product collateral and participates in marketing events as a thought leader and solution evangelist (e.g. trade shows, webinars).
Work with the Market Intelligence team to gather competitive and market information.
Work with the Solution Marketing team to define go-to-market strategy, key benefits, product positioning, target customers/vertical markets.
Define and ensure SLA delivery and ownership across the organization.
Support Sales and Pre-Sales in key customer engagements as subject matter expert.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as Product Manager, or other similar role, in a technology environment.
Demonstrable technical skills (CI+ CAM & HbbTV), knowledge, and ability to manage technical aspects of a product or solution.
Excellent English verbal, written, and presentation skills to both technical non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of and experience within the Video Entertainment industry, video backend infrastructures and/or video capable devices.
Highly self-motivated person able to drive projects forward with limited input.
Ability to provide people technical guidance and coaching to teams.
Proactive and pragmatic attitude in working with both external parties and different parts within the organization.
Ability to build strong relationships with sales teams, customers, technology providers and partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, a Business Degree, or similar work experience.
Specific knowledge of, and experience within, content security, anti-piracy, cybersecurity and brand protection is preferred.
Highly motivated self-starter with initiative and passion to succeed in an informal fast paced environment.
Excellent presentation skills in front of customers and at industry events.
Based in the Netherlands with flexible work arrangements – via our Work Hard Anywhere policy.
Regular travel to customers and non-customer sites worldwide (25%).
